Blue Period S01

Yataro Yaguchi, a second-year high school student, is tired of his ordinary life. He does well in school and hangs out with his friends, but in reality, he doesn't enjoy any of these activities. He feels envious of those who do things differently, limited by the monotony of his daily life. That is until he discovers the joy of painting. When he sees a painting by one of the art club members, he becomes captivated by the colors used in the painting. Later, during a painting exercise, he tries to express himself without using words, but through painting. After this experience, Yataro sees himself as powerful in art and decides that he wants to pursue it as a career. However, many obstacles stand in his way: his parents, who are skeptical of his unconventional choices, his more experienced peers, and the fact that the art world is deeper than he initially thought.
